Dear Groves Class of 1970 alumni,
We are sorry to inform you that due to a very low response we have decided to cancel the Reunion party for May 29, 2011. Our committee has worked very hard on plans in the past year and truly hoped for a great turnout. It was a difficult decision for us to make, especially since we had signed a contract with the Iroquois Club.
To those of you who had planned on attending, we hope that other classmates can form a new committee to make the next Reunion more successful. If someone does try to plan a future Class of 1970 reunion, please contact the four of us and hopefully we will be able to assist a new group.
If you have already paid to attend, you will receive a full refund of your money.
We will keep the website live and if you have photos that you wish to post, we will continue to add those to the site. Captions will also be included as we receive confirmation on who is in the pictures - haven't we all changed (or not!).
We have received some entries for a Class Memory book. Those will be posted on the website and you can make a print copy for yourself, if you wish.
Thank you again and we hope to see you sometime in the future at our next reunion - possibly a group of combined graduating classes or our 50th?
